LUCID SMILE

WOMAN smile at me

Let d vaults of thicken'd shadow

That cares and worries bring

Be drain'd by d rays dat in your face glow.

Smile!

And i shall see what behind your heart lay.

Allow your taunting unclosed eyes

And my open'd heart together play

Timbre of affection in unbroken verse.

Woman smile at me!

Make my weary passion awaken

To the sunshine in your countenance,

Till again it bud like daffodil

And blossom in manner of sunflowers.

SMILE and make me shy again

Return d coyness that took my heart

Like the begining,the first day

My eyes probe'd your beauty in wonder.

Bring back to me the former feeling

That gets my nerve flurried

Like to a widespread ocean

Who hastes to again hug its shore.

THE THIEVES - pen'd by Chris 'Fabeku Lucid' & 'Atansuyi 'Tunde Tersunate'.

(Atansuyi Tunde TERSUNATE) :

A mugger,i was young,gawk at me
I dont know you, suddenly appear you to me.
An apogee of government is there
You never trouble them,why me
A lonely man living in a hovel.
My blood congeal,as the mugger make
A noise at me,it rates my faith to lower rate.
But one day,
The wild animal will find its prey.
Your mind is hard as stone
You will never accept a-pology.
You are an antsy who wants to complete
A blue mission, but never considering the low people in the society.

. (CHRIS Fabeku Lucid) :

Your appearing hoots at evil
And the ambience that from you flow
Are but loathful scents of horror.
The ghastly murk you imbue'd
Pricks my beating heart to race.
Your dread haunts my awe
And t'wards my breast,my head drape'd.
For fear....it could not be raise'd
To drink of your disguise'd visage.
You disengage'd my bones
By your pulsing pendulous shoves
My snarls and gasps, were music to your lobes.
My weary fixture excite you
And you simper to see me tremble
At your every gawpy stare.
But this is my resort.
(I know i dare not spit it to your hears);
'You are the coward!'
But it's me who bear the siege it breed
Because on me you have placed it.
I beg of you,
Loose off me the leash of your torment
And go after those with surplus;
Who own room enough to take you in
And can contain your distraught.
(But to them you would not)
Are you not a coward!
My fear for you is light
In compare with the pity you worth.
You plight.....
And your ploys are born of confusion.
The fear you (within) fight
Sallies from your lack of faith in works.
Hope, turned in you hues of to-morrow's fright.
. Satisfaction....
You can never be full.
. Peace.....
You will never know.
Take my every dime,
Take also,my bread and clads.
Go with all i have in my lifetime gather'd.
But this one thing i pray thee;
SUFFER ME TO LIVE.
